Momentum Solar is a leading residential solar provider, with over 650 employees and offices in New Jersey, New York, California, and Florida. Momentum has grown from $2 Million in revenue to approximately $110 Million in 2 years, and we are on track to double our growth in 2018. 


The Operations Manager role will inform, shape, and manage cross-functional efforts to analyze and identify operational improvement opportunities and then establish, refine, and maintain processes, standards, and workflows in support of all Momentum teams. This includes conducting internal user research and critical analysis of existing organizational practices vs. overall strategic objectives, synthesizing findings into actionable recommendations with clearly demonstrable business impact, and driving on-time execution of the highest quality. This role is a key part of a team that oversees full life-cycle analysis, design, execution, implementation, controls, and efficacy review of the operational model. This role reports directly to the Director of Operations.



  • Identify, analyze, and present top opportunities to achieve operational efficiencies and work with leadership to fully prioritize efforts against Momentum’s core strategic objectives.
  • Deliver quantifiable changes/savings to the organization via implementation of operational efficiencies.
  • Manage logistics and personnel needed to execute on the above.
  • Maintain a constant feedback loop with Momentum leadership, primary stakeholders, and consumers of the processes.
  • Streamline/create/maintain process and standards documentation.
  • Collaborate closely with all internal teams to facilitate and measure the efficacy of implementation.
  • Consult on the major, cross-functional efforts as a representative of Operations leadership around such topics as evaluating new partners, systems, and operating models.


  • Relevant BA/BS degree with strong academic performance
  • 3+ years’ related experience.
  • Advanced Excel proficiency
  • Analytical, creative, and innovative approach to solving complex problems
  • 2+ years’ experience managing people to drive critical outcomes
  • Confident presenting a well-reasoned business case to senior leadership
  • Exceptionally organized, meticulous, and detail organized
  • Proven ability to adapt and thrive in fast-paced, dynamic environments
  • High sense of urgency and deadline driven
  • Skilled in adapting to requirements of numerous, constantly changing demands
  • Demonstrated success with conducting data analysis and applying findings to support actionable recommendations.
  • Demonstrated success in managing logistics/project management of complex initiatives with multiple stakeholders.
